Vaginal birth after having a Caesarean birth

A vaginal birth after having a Caesarean birth (VBAC) is something many women strive for, and so helpful to hear positive successful VBAC stories like Sigrid’s.

Most women who have had a caesarean birth are usually able to safely try vaginal birth the next time they get pregnant. This is called vaginal birth after caesarean or VBAC.

A VBAC is generally the same as any other vaginal birth. Where the difference lies is that when you go into labour’ your doctor or midwife will monitor you very closely – more closely than if you hadn’t had a previous caesarean.

Below I have an amazing podcast with Sigrid and her VBAC.
